We are Rachel and Rachel, two soul sisters from beautiful British Columbia. You can call us The Rachels, R-squared, Rachel-squared, R&R, Rachel 1 & 2, or whatever combination you prefer and we will respond. Or just yell ‘Rachel!’ and at least one of us will turn around.
Radiant Rachels was created in 2014 as a platform dedicated to share our mutual joy of healthy eating and living. Here, you will find countless mouth-watering recipes and tips to help you radiate from the inside out. From time to time we also document the adventures we go on as we explore the peaks and valleys of this wonderful world.

We see special diets as opportunities to experiment with ingredients in unconventional ways to achieve nourishment and expand dietary diversity. Our Stories
Child of God. Adventure seeker. Heart beat chaser. All about wrinkled smiles, good conversations, sleeping bag outings, farmers markets, country music, post-workout endorphins, and good laughs. Aspiring firefighter, personal trainer (on the side), and one day opening a non-profit bake shop with lots of windows and fresh flowers everywhere.
My mom sparked my love for wholesome cooking and baking when she’d always be in the kitchen prepping meals for my family. I remember our favourite thing to do was to scour the bookstore for new cookbooks and new recipes to try. She’d always have freshly baked goodies waiting for me when I came home from school, and I’d always watch her cook by the kitchen counter. Food is always better when savoured with others, and made with love and wholesome ingredients. I hope to celebrate my love for plant based foods and inspire you to eat well, live happy, and feel your best self!
Chew’s favourite recipe: Peanut Butter Thumbprints
Jesus follower. Dream chaser. Enthralled by starry skies and mountain highs. Happiest when I’m soaking up the sunshine, hosting a themed party, and breaking a fresh loaf of bread with company. Often found behind the camera making food and people look fabulous. One day hoping to share my love for joyful movement as a yoga instructor and own a lil’ granola business.
My love for the kitchen began with preparing boxed cake mixes for cupcake day, making cinnamon buns with Mama Leung’s bread machine, peeling snow peas with grandma in front of her tv, and baking (usually terrible) sugar cookies every weekend with my best friend. Chew introduced me to the world of vegetarianism in high school and since then, I’ve found healing through plant-based eating (my eating disorder story is here). I am happier and healthier than I’ve ever been and wish to spread that joy thicker than the almond butter on my toast!
